I know of 2. One is Chinese and its called the Dragon-Phonix Palace and is located upstaris on Bolsa and Magnolia. Hard to miss due to the big sign and right next to the asian mall. Second is Casa di Pico on Garden Grove and Newland. Hard to find because its behind another building.They have a sign out front but it is covered by a tree. Also I just remebered a place in Newport called the Golden Truffle. Very expensive and must dress approprialy. Food is wonderful.

I am assuming your talking about California....if so this is not a hole in the wall, but it is delicious and not a chain..

Try Mariscos Los Cabos in Orange on Tustin Blvd. Great, fresh Mexican food. I recommend the carne asada plate

hooray crap tastic/fake people in the OC. well my bf and i enjoy this Mexican restaurant (not sloppy mexican) but technically is in Seal Beach/ Long beach area right off of PCH calle Enriques small place, but busy.

Give them a miss there s**** it all the slops and you cant complain.Go for good old sit down then you can give them hell if food s****cant beat causing a fuss and you might get your food for free works for me.
