Just getting started with JD Edwards - Peoplesoft Enterprise One (Version E8.10). Can you recommend any good JD Edwards reference books for developers ? The JD Edwards official manuals are awful !

Also, are there some good JDE training facilities which don't cost a ton ?

Well I think the problem here is that JD Edwards training and book materials are highly specialized and specific. They also appear to be very proprietary to Oracle/Peoplesoft. Everywhere I looked no one was carrying the books you are looking for except for the manuals themselves. The training facilities for it too are highly specialized almost to the point where Oracle/peoplesoft are the ones doing most of the training.

What this means is that the books are rare and the training is pricey. I just don't think you are going to find what you are looking for until Oracle/Peoplesoft actually open it up a bit more to the market.

Sorry I couldn't find a better answer.
