When I was a child, we had not Peace Core to help teach hungry nations to feed themselves.
I wish I could remember which president that established the Peace Core.
But no man, or amount of prayers can change the weather and cause the droughts to ends.
No one can make someone rich give to someone poor, a place to live, enough of food to eat, a shower, hair cut long enough to help someone find a job.
But for humanity's sake, lets say, 10 well to do people do that to those whom the find on the streets, take them off the streets for 6 months, feeds, clothes and reeducate them.
The odds are that these 10 people will not show up for their job interviews or make an attempt to work.
I know that sounds hard, but most do not want to.
They are addicted to what is called "negative attention."
They can earn a better living from hand outs than they can by working.
I have been driving for almost 30 years.
I can not begin to tell you how many times I have seen "So called hungry and homeless people" in this country, driving very nice expensive cars and park them 2 or 3 blocks away, walk to the corner dressed like bums and solicit money and get it.
Hundreds of times I have seen this.
Want proof?
When you have the time, watch them from a safe distance and then carefully follow them to their car.
In the days of CB raidos, my sister and our husbands would do this to see what was really going on.
We were kids, in our late teens and early 20's with time to kill.
Now, I see it when someone drops another off on a corner, a few hours later, that same person is being picked up again by the one who droped him off.

SOME people don't match words with actions... others do. There are those out there who work to make other's lives better and I think there should be more focus on them and less on those who just talk the talk.
See Ryan's Well link below as an example of the power an ordinary little boy has had on the world.

Giving food or money to starving people will not solve the problem, and all the people who talk about these things know is to throw food or money at it, and that will never work. So they are at a toal loss and don't know what to do. When they do these speaking events it is to raise money for themselves, not to give it to some half-dead, diseased, starving savage in the middle of Africa.

Because the people who have the money, and there's a lot of money out there, don't want to share it.
The money we spent on Iraq? We could've used it to immunize every child, feed the world for twenty years, so many things, but we used it on a very stupid war. Shows the government's priorities.

There is so much to do about it and so few people who have the capacity to be able to do something about it. While it is being helped , it is not being helped in a great amount that the general public is able to take note on it.

Because America is too greedy. Since we are the richest country in the world, there should be no reason for starvation in our country at least but there is. The world is a f***ed up place.

The famined countries are usually run by wealthy dictators who steal most of the cahritable food and sell it or use it for their militaries. While the charitable organizations mean well most of their resources never make it to the people who need it most.

There are some people out there who actually help, but not enough. The rest of the people are just trying to help themselves.

i position self belief in spanking yet ...this is irrelevant to spank any newborn it really is at an age they're very nearly adults. this is purely incorrect. you want to stay out of the disciplining. it is your husbands toddlers and disciplining could be between your husband and his toddlers. You and your husband favor to ensure a therapist and locate the approaches and coping skills to deal including his toddlers and and an ex-spouse. it may be unfair that you'll limit his toddlers from the living house. He would resent you in case you probably did. those toddlers are going to be adults in 2 years. it may be unhappy in the journey that your husband lost his courting including his toddlers.
