You know when you ask a question in a certain category (Football for example), and the answer you get is "Who cares, football sucks."?

Absolutely - if someone doesn't care about a topic, don't comment on it and leave the discussion to people who are interested. Freedom of speech is one thing, but don't abuse by having to chime in on everything just because you get two points for doing so.
It would be cool if there were marshals or judges in every category, and they just tossed aside any comments that did not add to the discussion of a question that was asked, and actually penalized people who toss the ignoramus comments...
