Ann Coulter has authored blockbuster after blockbuster, including "Treason: Liberal Treachery from the Cold War to the War on Terrorism" and "Slander: Liberal Lies About the American Right."

I have read them all in a serious attempt to understand her point of view and ... and interestingly enough it is genuinely valid!
I can see why some might take offence at her quirkiness but her arguments valid!

It seems she is the conservative liberals hate most . . . and her latest "Godless" will only add to their anger but I don't know why..she actually cites the Liberal position!

Her book also offers the perfect antidote to "Da Vinci Code" madness. And her new book "Godless: The Church of Liberalism" is an eye-opening tour de force that deftly exposes the hostility liberals have toward traditional religion.

As a university level professor Coulter shows convincingly that this hostility stems from the fact that liberalism is itself a religion - a godless one.

Where am I wrong?

Your answer: THIS PROVES SHE IS AN IDIOT: She doesn't understand basic biology. She said evolution is impossible because of the complexity of the cell. She has no authority to make such ridiculous comments. Evolution occurs when mutations are made after fertilization. When the DNA of the parents combine, a process called "crossing over" occurs. "Crossing Over" in and of itself doesn't produce evolution. However, at that point mutations can occur that are different from both the mother and father. That is the term "genetic variation." If this trait is passed on and other offspring do as well, a change in a species can occur. That is evolution. She needs to get over it and come into the 21 century!

Well your wrong to call liberalism a religion. And many liberals believe in a God of one form or another, however unlike the religious right I feel liberals believe that ones religion is a personal choice, and not one that should be made for them. Just because I do not believe in your God, doesn't mean I do not believe in another God. I was brought up to believe my personal religious beliefs are personal, they are not yours nor the governments business, as yours are none of mine. I am pretty sure that is what the 1st amendment is all about.

As far as Ann Coulter is concerned I do not hate her she is what she is. I feel more sorry for her. She is a hate spewing poor representative of the Republican party, and Conservatives in general. I have seen her on various TV shows, but I refuse to pay money that would support her in any way.

most people don't believe her arguments are valid...

some people think Michael Moore's points are valid... and Moore had a lot of success... but success IS FAR FROM VALIDATION FOR BEING RIGHT/CORRECT...

I don't think Coulter or Moore's points are very valid... perhaps some are, but not the majority...

how can democrats/liberals be godless, when most dems go to church? just a question?

Actually, I'm surprised that all rational people don't despise her.

I don't care what end of the political spectrum she's on. She's crude, obnoxious, ruthless, cruel to anyone she doesn't like, and has no respect for anyone who doesn't absolutely agree with her.

She's also irrational in a large percentage of her arguments, making up facts and setting forth assumptions that have no basis in reality. She has no concept what liberals (or most conservatives for that matter) actually think, because she makes it up as she goes along, and anyone who disagrees with her is just fuel for another irrational rant.

I personally know many conservatives and many Republicans who are embarrassed to be on the same side of the political spectrum as her, and wish she would just shut up and stop giving conservatives a bad name.

You're wrong on all accounts. Miss Coulter is a giant "B" and that's no lie. All of her arguments are one sided opinions that has little or no substance. She is trying to make rational thinking people seem evil, but she's wrong. If I had a dollar for every mistatement uttered out of her mouth I'd be rich........

I like you have read all of her books, and I think she's hilarious. Not only is her writing funny, but she tells the truth about what is really going on the left. If you want the truth, Ann Coulter is the one to read! You're not wrong at all!

I don't think even Ann Coulter believes half of what Ann Coulter says. She just tries to be deliberately outrageous to attract attention. She wants to see just how far she can go, and have half her audience cheer her, while the other half wants to throw things at her. And what's up with the black cocktail dress? Doesn't that prove she is not a person to be taken seriously?

You are what you read.

The term "GIGO" comes to mind. If you put garbage into your mind, garbage comes out.

I am convinced the Karl Rove is buying all her books to make it look like they are best sellers.

I call her "Ann Poltergeist."
