Take some soap. Put a dab of it in your hand. Take the paintbrush, and gently brush it back and forth under a small warm stream of tap water. Do not ever dip the paintbrush much further than the tip of the metal, because the water or paint can get caught up in the metal part and cause rusting, making the bristles fall out. The only reason for the bristles to get hard and stick together is if you don't get all the paint washed out thoroughly, or you use glue and you don't get all the glue out. After the brush has been cleaned of all paint and soap (or any other material you used), lay it flat on a paper towel until dry, and store tip side up, or store laying flat. Do not store tip side down, as this may bend the bristles. Hope this helped.

If you are painting with water-soluable paints, then clean-up with soap and water. Wash them with room tempertaure water and a mild soap or shampoo. I shake my brushes when I'm done to get rid of the water that's left from washing them. I also put just a dab of hair conditioner on them then reshape the bristles. Lay them flat, hang them by their handles or stand them on end (not on bristles) to dry. I usually wet my brush and dab it on a cloth or paper towel whenever I start a new project. This removes excess conditioner and makes the paint flow smoother.
Synthetic and natural bristle brushes can be used when painting with water based products. If you are using oil based products you should use a natural bristle brush and clean it with a paint thinner or brush cleaner made specifically for oil-based products. Follow the directions on the packaging based on the type of brush you have. Using paint thinner, turpentine, acetone, etc. will damage, well actually destroy synthetic bristle brushes.
Have fun!

Dont know if this trick will work with this, but you know how when you paint your house u waist a lot of roller because you can get all the pain out of the roller. Well try painting placing it inside a grocery bag and placing it in your fridge drawer it will be ready for use the next day without the need for rinsing or nothing. We learned this new trick when painting our new house. Works like a charm. You might want to try it. If you dont mind putting those articles in your fridge.....

i water base paint the hot soapy water & rinse clear..you can thin the paint to any hue you like with water
as to web sites i dont know i did all my painting free hand on ceramics
but buy your green ware,,,and clean it you can etch into the surface with a edging tool if you like..fire once...on the fired surface you apply 3 coats of paint,,or you can use an acrylic based paint and be done after spraying it with a top coat of sealer or you fire it again and when thats done you do the glaze coat,,,also 3 coats to get the glassy look...be sure to do the inside of all vases...just pour the glaze into it and coat everything....this makes it water proof and somewhat chip proof.....
good luck in your ceramics...i hope to kind someone around here with a kiln so i can get back to mine

My suggestion would be to use paint thinner, and or soap and water. If the paint is washable you should use soap and water. Paint thinner would be a god solution to remove the paint.
