I have an 3 years old P3 933MHZ computor. After some time of its power on (about 15 minutes) a sound occures from it like a small motor runs at fast speed (may be hard drive). What about this sound? Although computor works well.

First check for dust in one of the fans.
Assuming it's a desktop take the side off and have a look. 3 years, you probably have a good bunch of dust bunny's clogging the fan intakes and the cpu heatsink under the fan.
Get some compressed air and blow it out. If your still getting the noise. then yes the fan bearing is probably going, it's way easier to replace a $5 fan than a $100 processor when the fan dies and the system overheats. So find it now, it's an easy fix.

If it is a laptop, Just remember rule number 1 about laptops. DON'T OPEN THE LAPTOP. you can't fix it, and you probably can't put it back together.

Normally when the PC/Laptop reaches a certain temperature the fan kicks to a higher spped to cool down the PC/Laptop. The noise should not occur all the time, and you should hear it stop and turn back on every few minutes or so. If you had the PC for a while and just strarted hearing this noise you may need to replace one of the fans, but if this noise has been heard since the computer was purchased, I would not worry about it.

Sounds like the bearing is going bad in one of the fans. Open up the case (while its making the noise), and you should be able to see which one it is. You could probably replace the bad fan for under $20.
