I'm getting another tattoo in a few months. Don't go for cutsie or any type of cartoon character (If you put tweety bird on your tummy, and in 30 years if you have gained pounds and wrinkles will it turn into Big Bird...VBG) Imagine where you put your tattoo, will it still look good there when you are 60? I don't care for flash, that's what you see when you walk in a shop, I prefer to work with the artist, even if its something as simple as a rose, I dont want the same thing 1000's of others are walking around with.

Consider your health first. Tattoos on women are only a fad for the time being, and could possibly cause health issues at a later time. Why take a chance on an infected needle, or a blood disease? Make a fashion statement, not a fashion goof. It's not like body paint that can be removed with a bath.

I have 4 tattoos total... 1 in my left forearm of tribal and a smiley face in the middle, one above my right knee of a heart with my (soon to be )ex. husbands name inside it, one on my left breast of a dime sized smiley face, and one on my right ankle of a pop can sized smiley face. You can look through books at the tattoo parlor and find what u r looking for or draw one up yourself of one ...
P.S. If you get a chain make sure it connects all the way around because it's bad luck if you don't... and be sure it is what you really want before you permanently put something on your body... and you should have it resemble something you care about in your life like your kids(if any) or parents but not significant other because that tends to change.
Good luck with the tattoo and I hope it doesn't hurt too badly for you! IM me after you get one done and describe it to me!

Well, I have nine tattoos in all. Some of them are pretty big and one of them is a cover up. If you dont' know what to get then sit down and think of things you love. I got my sons name because he is with me forever, etc.... I have some that I regret in a way. They are memories but I wish they were not there. Get what your heart desires and anyone who says something bad can flip off. Know what I mean.

i got one i got one!

okay, now that THAT nonsense is done.. let me tell you:

I took a good three, four, five months.. something like that to REALLY REALLY think about what to get.

I narrowed down what was important in my life, and how i define myself.

I came up with a few ideas then ran to the tattoo parlor.

guess what i got? actually.. im going to post a question to psychic's on what i got as a tattoo.. let's see if anyone can guess it. I'll post what i got there.

all im going to say to YOUR question is:

spend longer than five months thinking and make sure YOU REALLY WANT THAT CHOICE. :)

I have 7...Flower on right ankle, Dreamcatcher on inside right calf, ying yang on inside left calf, unicorn on left outer calf, spade on hand, rose vine with kids' names on right arm, and cross and tribal emblem across upper back........I think tattoos are beautiful...But make sure you really take time to pick something that you like cuz you're gonna have it forever...And if you are worried about how it will look and what others will think have it put in a "hidden" place.

I used to have one - it was a ladybug on my shoulder. Had it surgically removed because I couldn't stand the thought of what it would look like as I aged. Tattoos on wrinkled skin just plain are not attractive.

tatoos are nasty!! they stretch as you get older, and in 20-30 years you're not going to be able to tell what it is, or was anyway,so what's the point? Besides they're permanent and even if they are removed, there's a scar, and you can still tell it was there.. sorry, But I really hate tatoos!!
