Europe is so big on the NFL that they created the EFL, the European Football League. Its pretty damn good football too. I watched the Berlin team over the summer, they are made up of mostly NFL players.

um....JAva, how is football (American) in any respect like football. i'm American born and raised and that i have no liking in the direction of American football. in truth football and many different activities kinda tick me off with all their time-outs and crap. To me, football (football) is the most suitable sport. those men extremely have staying power to play 2 40 5 right now minute halves or perhaps extra if desire be. i'm happy the questioner is tremendous and would not diss different activities. it really is a good element. not all american are like that.

Mexico for sure-last season the NFL had a game in Mexico City, I think it was the Arizona Cards and maybe the 49ers, over 100,000 people came to watch the game. The Japanese like football too.

Football does exist in other countries, but in almost all of them soccer is THE sport. That doesn't mean that it still isn't played, just that it isn't nearly as big as it is in the U.S. In many countries, football's popularity is similar to soccer's is here. A handful of leagues and such you could look into: BCAFL (college fb in the UK), Eurobowl, and IFAF (organizing the World Championship for 2007).

It's very big in Mexico as well....so much so that the NFL has considered Mexico City and Monterrey as a places for expansion franchises in the past. As a matter of fact an decent percentage of the Dallas Cowboys fans are from Mexico.

not to many other countries.......if any its the canada or europeans because of nfl europe.....but like you said most countries play soccer and if not then they go to footballs father sport.....rugby......i personally wish it would gain popularity because its a great sport and isnt a pu$$y sport just because of the padding.......guys hit harder when they got pads on.......and also its really exciting to watch.......last thing i would love to see football go international but the nfl commisioner was trying to get expansions during last years preseason and showing them preseason games in japan and mexico.....hopefully in 20 years more countries will watch it and not just rugby

Sorry, no other country is even remotely interested in american football. It is almost impossible to see it on TV anywhere else than US.
