well, wash with soap and warm water, then use rubbing alcohol. DO NOT PICK at them, it will only be worse.
then maybe put a thin layer of Clean & Clear Pimple Cream on. You could get that at any WalMart. and RELAX! Stress brings on more acne. Maybe a cold pack will help with any swelling and redness and i know that using Preparation H gets rid of swelling.
I also have tried dotting eye drops on zits. It gets rid of redness.
Plain white toothpaste (nothing fancy) on overnight shrinks zits down. But it really may dry out your skin.
Eating cucumbers really helps with clear skin too. I have heard of oatmeal baths being good for acne and sunburn, check that out on the internet.
i would use Proactiv from now on though, it really calms and really works!!!!!

i have this great lotion Clean and Clear Oil free dual action moisturizer , i love this stuff . Oh and when you wash your face hold a warm cloth over it for a few seconds to open your pores and after don't forget to use a toner to get all the soap residue off . I don;t know if it'll do the job in 9 hours but i hope that helps some .

I don't know about the 9 hour timelimit, but a good herbal remedy is to swab with alcohol and/or witch hazel.
Sometimes some direct sun will help too. Good luck.

Well, Usually, applying something cold to your forehead will reduce the redness. Dont use ice, but maybe an unopened can of soda. It may sound stupid, but it does work. As long as you keep the soda cold, it will reduce redness and eventually reduce the pimples.

I like to use hydrogen peroxide after scrubbing with a facial brush.
Then apply this cream:
