Thank you I hope more people realize that he was the first to make mistakes. Every time it comes up in topic libs switch swiftly to other things that were done wrong.

When the media coverage was at it's hight Bush was the one being blamed. Later on Nagen told the truth.

Maybe libs think that if they start taking responsibility for what they do wrong the idea will spread and the people might actually rise out of their slums of hatred and become independent and successful.

I like Rush too.

Same old in life. Self preservation. Much of the population is not willing to admit thier own mistakes. There is plenty of blame to go around for the situations that happened in the gulf coast and mostly New Orleans. While no one can control the weather certaily there can be contingencies. I think what happened in NO was that they may have had a plan of some sort but, they were to afraid to act on it even though they had 4 days. My biggest disapointment was that Janet Jacksons breast was aired forlest than a second and all of the staions that aired that were fined. However the language that was coming out of Mr. Nagins mouth and that some find more offensie that was on the same stations during that time was just as bad but no fines were levied.

You know, that school bus thing was highly overdramatized. Just who was going to drive those buses, anyway? You think you could have gotten bus drivers with families and houses and pets of their own to worry about to just drop everything and drive buses in and out of NO during a storm? Yer nuts.

The bottom line is this: Natural disaster rescue and relief is the responsibility of the federal government (why else would they have a Federal Emergency Management Agency?).

I dont know why people continue to make excuses for a government that isnt doing it's job on any front. Energy crisis? been a crisis for 30 or 35 years. Health care crisis? been a crisis for 10-15 years anyway. Social Security crisis? been a crisis for decades, at least. Immigration? been a crisis for 20 years.

Nothing gets done. All these people should be dragged out into the street and horsewhipped.

People always look towards a larger source. For example take elections: More people will pay attention to national elections than local elections. Think about how much you really know about your local representative, then compare it to "The W."

Let's not ignore the fact that he is the epitome of a racist. I think that black people like the fact that he is so outpoken and can get away with it. As he belches racism all over the waves, I am continuing to sicken at the thought of a chocolate city. Actually if it keeps up I will sicken at the thought of cholcolate anything. We have a disease in our country called Entitlement syndrome, it is disgusting to look at.

I think you are being selfish and shortsighted...if not outright bigoted!.....The Billions of dollars you sent to New Orleans was chump change! You should have sent Trillions! or Gazillions! You should have set up a government mint in the street and had people take as much cash as they could carry away! Serioiusly....don't worry...that fiasco will self implode.....righteousness floats....bullshit sinks......eventually

Yes,we were discussing that and he admitted on nation-wide t.v. that he had erred in his decision concerning the use of the buses.

Bias......plain and simple! Sad but true, instead they blame FEMA and the President because they didn't have the power to prevent a storm.........yet the conspiracy theorists are convinced he caused the storm........when a storm is 400 miles wide, where the hell were we supposed to have planes and National Gaurd troops waiting???

Better question is why did people reelect him? I don't like Bush either, but it wasn't Bush's job to get these people out. That was the mayor and governor's job.

new orleans should have been a democrat/liberal utopia since it has been governed by democrats for decades. instead, the reality of the deomcrat rule has been exposed for what it was. thousands of innocent people dead or waiting for the government to give them a hand out in the form of a bus ride out of the city. it is the fault of the governor and the mayor for not urging people to leave. for those who chose to stay, it is their own fault. everyone, even my dog, has enough brains to leave a dangerous situation. it is up to the individual to take care of themselves, no one else.
