He only retired from international play. He knows that chances are good that he won't be good enough to make the national team 4 years from now, and he wants to give space for younger players to develop on Brazil's team. But he will continue to play for his club team. (And that's a beautiful thing!)

I tell you what.

Do yourself a favor and watch the game between Brazil and France again.
When Brazil concede that Free-Kick that Henry scored from. Put it on Slow Motion.
Watch how Roberto "The Old Man" Carlos stand STILL for 9 Seconds while he should of been marking Henry.

That is what lost Brazil the World Cup so in my opinion that stupid old man should of retired long time ago. If you do not have the video of the game i have a e-mail that shows Carlos standing still.

He should of retired after the last World Cup because now he will be remembered as the guy who LOST Brazil the World Cup.

He should retire or go to a less important team than Real Madrid.

YES MOST DEFINTELY, HE SHOULD'VE RETIRED BEFORE THE WORLD CUP, DONT GET ME WRONG HE HAS ONE OF THE BEST SHOT'S IN FOOTBALL, BUT HE DEFINTELY HAS LOST A STEP, MANY BRASILIANS BLAME HIM FOR THERE LOSS TO FRANCE IN THE WORLD CUP..... THE WAY BRASIL USUALLY ATTACKS THEY NEED THOSE DEFENSIVE WINGERS RUNNING UP AND DOWN THE PITCH, AND I PERSONALLY DONT THINK THEY HAD THOSE OPTIONS THIS YEAR ROBEERTO CARLOS AND CAFU....
