Billions doubtful but I can say that a person can potentially make a decent living by studying new, emerging companies. Is their product as good as that "other" big player in the industry---possibly better? With a new twist? Are they providing a revolutionary service or product? Study graphs and trends and be sure to start play paper trading at first (no money, just keep track of what you might have made or lost if you had invested)---then start out with small investments after you have done all your homework. Be CERTAIN that it is money you have to spare since investing is really like gambling when dealing in penny stocks and you could lose it all---or make a lot of money in the end, regardless of how much homework you have done.

You have to do some research and find the next big thing. One to look at... efoodsafety.com. They have developed a formula to erradicate avien flu on hard and porous surfaces and are awaiting FDA trial to end to approve as an ingestable substance. How many news reports did you hear about avien flu last flu season?
