conservatives always use these nebulous terms liberal... that change LITERALLY from question to question... and often in a single question... blaming them for everything under the sun...
if you're attacking a person... or even a policy in general... ok... but to attack something as nebulous as a "liberal"... which you guys make out to be everything from hitler to communists to satanists to the monster in your bedroom closet...
there is no consistancy to your attacks and no consisantcy to your usage of "liberal"... the only consistancy seems to be that a "liberal" represents what you fear most...
is that what it is to you guys... a word that is represenative of a manefestation of your fears?
if you cite anything, which is REALLY RARE, it's something that is one insane liberal talking about something that has no mainstream appeal to anyone...
granted, some have no idea what Republican/conservative beliefs are... but NO WHERE NEAR THE DELUSIONS OF WHAT LIBERALS ARE/REPRESENT...

... I mean it's borderline hilarious from question to question... the things you blame on "liberals"...

afterflakes: then why do you all COMPLETELY disagree on what a liberal is... and in every post it's different...
I don't know what circles you run in... but your constituents on Yahoo! Answers often don't act the way you describe...

... basically... what I'm asking is.... HOW DOES CRYING ABOUT A GROUP THAT NO ONE CLEARLY DEFINES HELP ANYONE DO ANYTHING?
I mean, criticizing a person is 10 TIMES MORE EFFECTIVE BECAUSE YOU CAN AT LEAST TALK ABOUT THE ISSUES HE HAS SIDED WITH...
BUT THE ISSUES CHANGE FROM QUESTION TO QUESTION, IN EVERY WAY AND FORM, WHEN TALKING ABOUT LIBERALS...
you guys stretch the definition in every way so much that it doesn't even have any real meaning...

and I mean... to a degree you could say the same about the term "Neocon" but even it seems to have limits that are not known to the usage of the word liberal...

It's actually a behavior common to irrational people on both ends of the spectrum. Not the moderates, mind you, just the fanatics.
Where they are ignorant on an issue, or too stupid to understand the underlying issue, or just don't want to be bothered trying to think about the issue, they wave their hands and blame the speaker.
It's really a rather sad example of people so wrapped up in their own hatred or delusion that they can't even think clearly. And that leaves them just ranting, and spewing nonsense as a means to distract everyone else from realizing they don't have anything coherent to say.
I feel sorry for people like that, and hope they get the psychological counseling that they need.

Wow, you are so narrow minded! You honestly think that conservatives are the only name calling political organization? Democrats have their own names for conservatives. Ever heard the phrase "right wing nut job." When talking about President Bush liberals usually break into an incoherent rant. Evil, Hitler, Nazi! Open your eyes! You are a moron if you really believe that conservatives are the only name callers in Wahington.

as usual, you are completely confused and have everything backward. we always have plenty to back up our statements. while in discussion its the liberal MO to start yelling , change the subject immediately or go on the attack of bush. it is RARE that liberals have anything of substance to say. they have no platform except for that of hate and it is the same as it was in the 60s, except now all their supporters are conservatives. liberalism is a mental disorder.
i guess i do not understand the question. in the us, liberal, when speaking politically, is assigned to the democratic party when in fact the democrats do not ascribe to the liberal definition as i know it, where people have economic freedom and more input in government. the term that probably best describes todays democrats is progressive. they want change and reform in government, which is at odds with the change in government that i desire. democrats stand for just about everything that i do not believe in.

Did you know that Bush isn't allowed to be alone near protesters of any kind because he could lash out and literally beat someone up?

Cornholeservatives need to hate or they will cease to exist. Once the "evil empire" (USSR) self destructed, they turned on liberals and if they could vanquish liberals, they would have to splinter and hate each other over minute differences in their fascist beliefs.

they yell at us for trying to modernize everything. we yell at them for trying to bring us back to the stone ages. theres name calling on both sides. they call us spineless, we call them brainless. i see them losing a lot of power in the november elections. and they will also lose power of one of the branches in 2008
