Lately.....I've really been thinking about the reasons behind life.....and what runs it. The reasons behind things happening (especially painful things)....and what really controls our future. those sort of things. And it's really bugging me. It's always in the back of my mind. And I feel like I can't move on and enjoy life until I figure out some answers. I'm just going through the motions in life...not really living it. I'm a 15 year old jock (weird i know to be thinking about all this), so it's really bugging me that I can't get these thoughts out of my head and move on. I'd appreciate anybody who wants to talk to me about any of this. My yahoo IM is itsouttahere777 and hell.....if you just wanna plain talk and chat....not even about any of that stuff.....that's cool too.....but that stuff is always in the back of my mind.

once you're taking a centred look at faith they exceedingly plenty all have ingrained into their philosophy fundamentals that are approximately preserving the ability shape that has been or would be outfitted around them. a number of them demonize people who think of or have self assurance something opposite to what they think of or have self assurance they say that the prophets or government of their books have been the final, so not greater can come after the books were written, and if any declare to be then they are fake prophets. in case you could over look those issues, and seek for information from each and every obtainable source, at the same time as nevertheless last in the religion which you become responsive to maximum with, whether aspects of it pass against your nature to seek for information and understand all issues, then you certainly would be on the final course.

Honey, you cant believe how many people live day to day with these same thoughts. I have been paralyzed by the same things. I really think our purpose here on earth is to learn from each other and pass along the knowledge that we have. Treat each other with love each and everyday( and im not a weird bible person.) pay close attention to the coincidences that happen daily and learn from your experiences. I think that God is all of that energy around us.. and I think it can be magical if you open yourself up to it. I think we all come from the same place and go back there... Im just not sure where exactly that is... thats the part that freaks me out. Just remember to act from love....

First of all young man, you're suppose to be enjoying the adventures of life, not trying to disect it. Life at your age is complicated enough, wondering what lies in your future and such. Enjoy each new adventure, learn from each new mistake and take life as it comes until you really have to make those tough, thought filled decisions. Take it from one you would call an "oldie", enjoy each new day as it comes and don't dwell on why.

You would probably be really interested in philosophy, specifically about free will vs. determinism. I suggest you look into books which introduce you to those terms. A good one is Robert Kane's "A contemporary introduction to free will". You may be able to find it at your local library, or order it online. If not that, scan the philosophy section at the library - you may hit on something of interest.

Sure we all wonder things like this daily. You'll always have these sorts of things, but they get less and less as you age because you have more going on in your life. All things happen for a reason, what those reasons are??? Only God knows...

Everything happens for a reason...of course i'm a christian so if that affects your decision to continue reading then i guess i understand. In my life bad things happen for a purpose...either to teach me something new, or maybe even to teach someone else in my life something new. It could also be to test my faith. If you are a Christian, then know this...God won't give you any problem that you can't handle.

I went through that at about the same age.It caused me alot of anxiety. There are alot of things that don't make sense and it's only natural for you to wonder. It's time for you to get in touch with your spiritual self. For you that might mean God, or maybe as simple as keeping a journal. Just don't let it drive ya crazy.

Welcome to a life of insanity :o)

My mind works like yours and you're pretty much stuck with it I'm afraid because the analyzing never stops. Basically, your innocence is gone but make the most of it...sounds like you're on your way to becoming very insightful.
