I am curious as to people's opinion as to who is a better singer Bing Crosby or Frank Sinatara. Both were pop and jazz singers, and both had similar hits, but I was wondering what the AVERAGE opinion is. So who is a better singer Frank Sinatra or Bing Crosby?

Bing Crosby...better voice and more wholesome, good guy!
Frank did it his way but he probably broke a few bones to get there.

I think they are pretty similar in voice as well. I like Frank Sinatra better just because of the songs he sang, but Bing Crosby is right up there too. Tough choice....

I liked both very much. As far as singing - it's a hard choice, but I'll say Bing Crosby. He seemed to deliver his message with purely his voice - he was a singer.
Now, "Frank" had a pretty good voice, but he was truly a performer. It wasn't just his voice - it was his style. His attitude - his stance - the way he tipped his hat - stood - had that cigarette hanging from his mouth and a drink in the other.
Opinion: One was a singer - One was a performer.

Tough question - they were both so good! Bing was more of a crooner though, and not quite the smooth singer like Frank was. Soo....I guess I'll have to go with Frank. They both were mean in real life and connected to the mob - maybe I should just say I really liked both of them.

hard one. They both could really sing a song. I am a musician and love the moments when our band jells. Sorry but I can't pick one over the other. But Frank was a better actor. in my view they both sang from the heart with very gifted voices.
