I want to volunteer some of my time and would like to hear from others and get opinions on what they consider the best way to contribute. Do you volunteer?

I have volunteered as a coach, door to door political campaigner, fund raiser, blood donor, church camp worker, and more. The best jobs are the behind the scenes jobs that no others prefer. You always get to meet good people at these things. Keep "service of others" in mind and you will be rewarded in unexpected ways.

Well, the best type of volunteer is volunteer work you like to do. There is the right and wrong type of volunteer work.
Many people like to do volunteer work because it makes them feel good, others do it because it looks good on a resume.
I say, if you are going to volunteer, be something you like to do! Any volunteer work is going to help at least 1 person. Even if it is just one, your time was well spent no matter what your volunteer job was.
Remeber, it is your time. Whatever is fun for you to do, there is a way to volunteer to the community for it!

certain in view that i became 8, it all started as a summer season interest scheme. I volunteered in dozens of diverse projects till about 3 years in the past. I have executed some wonderful issues, considered some wonderful issues and met some large human beings. this is been a privilege, i am going to do it back and would recommend it to every person.

I do. I volunteer at the poorest school in my town. I work with Kindergarten, and they are a lovely crew of little ones. I highly suggest working at grammar schools, because you can teach the children lots of things and they will love getting attention from you!

it's kinda gut wrenching, but feel good @ the same time. anyway to help the children and eldely in the hospital. reading , bring something ect....
