The OZ and the EVO are totally different beasts. The Evo has over twice the horsepower of the Oz Rally. Suspension and everything else on the Evo has been tuned to match the power. It's like the difference between a Subaru Impreza RS and the Subaru Impreza WRX.

The Lancer OZ Rally has OZ brand aftermarket wheels and better tires- that's about it. The Lancer Evolution has a 4G63 iron-block, DOHC EFI 2.0 liter 16 valve in-line 4 cylinder engine with 286-bhp, a 6-speed manual transmission and all-wheel drive. You can swap a 4G63 into a standard lancer, but the Evo has better suspension and it's chassis is much more rigid translating into better handling.

The Evo has WAAAAY more horsepower, has a stock turbo, rims and more. faster from 0-60. 5 seconds faster on the 1/4 mile. the only thing better on the lancer is the mpg :-) NOOOO WAY IN HELL can a lancer match the evo

They are different trim options, as OZ is a sponsor sort of option, with their parts. And No, it can't match up to an EVO. EVO's come in AWD, and OZ's don't.
