There is a thing in the Constitution and Bill of Rights called "Free Speech", you have the right to say what you like, you have the right to speak your mind. Don't let any liberals tell you that you can say what you like, IT IS YOUR RIGHT to do so! Speak your mind pal, and let it be known! ead up on it, and use your given rights that our forefathers fought for to keep. Good Luck

This may have already been said because I didnt read all the answers but I believe that there is a difference between having an opinion and sharing it from stating it and making others feel that your opinion is being imposed. There is a way to state things without imposing what you believe on others. You can state whatever opinion you believe in but at the same time show the same respect that you want. I do not agree with everything that is said on this board and when I respond I always try to emphasize that while I do not agree I respect their right to have that opinion. It is this way that I am taken seriously and not get nasty feedback. So have your opinion just allow others to have theirs without repercusions for them.

And one thing that I do believe is that god granted us all freewill to choose our path without judgement from others. If you know your religion then you will know this. I am not gay and I am happily married but I am not anyone to tell anyone how to live. That is Gods job. So if you want to take the religous side of it please cite all sides. God said "Judge not lest ye be judged thyself" and "Let those of us without sin cast the first stone" God will do the judging and I will do the following. I know all about Soddom and Gamorahh so I understand where you are coming from but we cannot pick and chose what lessons we want to learn from the bible and put the rest on a shelf, right. But once again this is just my opinion.

Have you ever heard the saying "If you can`t stand the heat, stay out of the kitchen?" If you`re going to insult people`s sexuality, religion, way of life or anything else, you are going to get some negative responses. Of course you can voice your opinion, but you can`t expect people to sit their and take it without defending themselfs. I`m not gay, but I have nothing against it. If thats what makes them happy then thats their business and it doesn`t make them any less of a person.
nanny2 also made a good point. Telling someone they can`t be homosexual is like someone telling you that you can`t believe in God. Its just not right, and its not fair.

Everyone is aloud to have an opinion. If you weren't aloud to share your thoughts then you wouldn't be on here with this question. Every time I come across a negative thing about homosexuality I will have to argue with it though.

You are allowed to share your thoughts - obviously, no one is stopping you from posting them online. Just as no one is stopping me from stating my disagreement with you. Your belief that "God is going to cut them down" is not necessarily the only belief that people can have about gay people. Not everyone believes in your version of God as a killer.

Of course you're entitled to your opinion. An opinion is not positive or negative; it simply is a thought.
Oh, I hope God doesn't 'cut down' people who can't spell...(aloud-allowed) or use spell check...you could be in trouble. Me, a Jesuit, gay priest suggested not to make God too small....like using human judgement standards.

You are absolutely entitled to have your own opinion on anything, including homosexuality. However, if your opinion happens to be as ignorant and ill-informed as the one stated in your question, and you choose to voice it in public, than you open yourself up to argument and ridicule. If you're not willing to face that, then keep your opinions to yourself. As a side note, the kinds of people who are against homosexuals and homosexual marriage are the exact same kinds of people who, fifty to one hundred years ago, were against inter-racial marriage. Do you people who are against homosexuals really think the popularity of your views will last?

To tell the truth I don't agree with it either but I don't judge people's sexuality. It's their choice to live their lives like that. I don't have a problem with them being like that. They are people too and I treat them like anyone else.

Everyone is allowed to have an opinion.
But there's a difference from stating opinions, and announcing them to purposefully offend people.

There's nothing wrong with having an opinion. It's when you decide to think it out loud that you invite others to think their opinions out loud as well. It's no more wrong of other people to tell you they think you're wrong than it is for you to simply express your opinion.
