how do i trade or battle with people from pokemon ruby i connect but when me and my friend do the game says the communication network is down or something i i wanna trade tell me how ,much appreatiated

Beat the Elite Four, then at 4, 5, or 6 island you get these rocks or something. Take them to One Island and give them to that one guy at the machine.

u have 2 beat the league 1st. then go to the 9 islands n find some sort of ruby and sapphire plate. then u can trade

you must beat the elite four. then you go to one island and go in the big building. there, you will see bill and celio. they will talk and say that you must need the ruby and sapphire to get the machine working. then you have to do a bunch of stuff to get them. go to gamefaqs.com and read the walkthrough about the islands.
