Yes these Canadians they have a lot to answer for, are they part of the Commonwealth or North America. They should make a decision.

Good question........why do all the countries have different rules for that? Im from England and learnt to drive there...........now a Canadian.......changing over wasnt that hard.....except for a standard car and getting used to having the gears on the other hand. As to 'why' I havent a clue.......will be interested in your answers though. Are you Canadian or English? Or just curious?

in the previous, very just about absolutely everyone travelled on the left side of the line as a results of the undeniable fact that became the most rational decision for feudal, violent societies. because that maximum absolutely everyone is ideal-surpassed, swordsmen favored to save to the left as a thanks to have their precise arm closer to an opponent and their scabbard further from him. besides to, it decreased the prospect of the scabbard (worn on the left) hitting different human beings. besides to, an exact-surpassed individual well-knownshows it more desirable person-pleasant to mount a horse from the left side of the pony, and it would want to be very perplexing to do in the different case if donning a sword (which may be worn on the left). that is safer to mount and dismount in direction of the side of the line, rather than in the midst of site visitors, so if one mounts on the left, then the pony should be ridden on the left side of the line. --> in the early years of English colonisation of North united statesa., English driving customs were said and the colonies drove on the left. After gaining independence from England, even with the undeniable fact that, they were worrying to forged off all superb links with their British colonial previous and steadily replaced to precise-hand driving.
