where would i start to look for my real mother and father?i was adopted when i was 6 weeks?i have no idea how to go about this? can some one plz give me some detailed help?

Firstly I want to say Good luck in your search.
Now. The first thing you need to do is request your NON IDENTIFYING INFORMATION from the agency/lawyer who handled the adoption. As an adult adoptee you ARE ENTITLED to this information.
Than I would suggest finding a SEARCH ANGEL in the state your adoption took place. *A SEARCH ANGEL is someone who has access to birth index's and other databases the regular public doesn't have access to. PLEASE DO NOT PAY FOR THE SEARCH ANGEL.* As a search angel myself, I NEVER CHARGE to do a search.
Adoption.com is a great place to find a search angel and to post your information. BUT always keep some of the information PRIVATE. There are alot of people out there who scam those searching. Something that ONLY you and your Bfamily would know should be kept private. ( EX: birth marks,something given to your aparents at the time of adoption by your Birtmother)

Go to the hospital where you were born. Ask your parents about the adoption agency.
