Well first of all it's your body so do with it want you want. Not what some bf that will probably not be around long for wants.

However I would think about it for awhile first and be creative and unique with your tattoo. Don't get one everyone else with have. I have four of them and each have a specific personal meaning to me and each were hand drawn by important ppl in my life. And for goodness sake research your artist. Don't just walk into a shop you know nothing about.

Religious reasons are a good reason not to get a ta too. Here was a point you are to be a Lamb without blemish or with out a mark on you that will put a claim on you to be in a certain lot.
Then the idea the tattoo takes on a life of its own carved into your flesh and make its mark and you cant get rid of it.
It is scary to be branded for life and unable to un link from the mark. So for God to choose you as one of his lambs you cant have a mark on you. No mark of the Beast or nothing that can take you from Our Sheppard's Fold The Bible Does Not Say The Lord is Our Sheppard for Nothing but for and example of how we should be in wait for him like Sheep without blemish. I saw sheep at a state fair once and they are pretty big creatures and in need of wool being sheared. The Shepard is not suppose to shear his flock or devower them but ten to them and care for them. I guess. Dont get the Tattoo

make sure it means someting to you, you will have it a VERY long time. It seems really cool now but how cool is it gonna be when that butterfly looks like a bat on your boob or but. Also, everyone has them now why not be a trend setter and NOT get one ?? Also, this guy is he a boyfriend or your dad? I don't need to ask my man's permission for S**T. but he may know better but it is your body and you ahve to make the decision

remember that a tattoo is forever. there is no taking it back if you dont like it.

seasons change and something that you really love right now might not be what you really love 30 years from now.

think about it long and hard before you do anything about getting a tattoo

i have several, but i was older, they are beautifully done by someone who knew what they were doing. and sterile. i love mine, but i would advise anybody thinking about getting one to think long and hard about it.

I "had" a husband that told me I couldn't have one. Needless to say I'm not married anymore...can you say controlling. I have 6 and don't regret any :)

try talking to him, he might soften up if he really loves you, my boyfriend isn't too thrilled about me getting 1 either, but he sofened up and apreciated my opinion. just try and talk him into it, take him to the shop w/ u and tell him that there's nothing to worry about.

Screw it go get one..It's your body..If he isn't letting you get one..He obviously isn't right for you...Guys can have there opinions but when they actually put there foot down for something you want so badly..then forget him. He should be supporting you!!!
