do these cloths give the clear glass look? Is there any special cautions to use when epoxying with spectra or kevlar.?

Spectra should not have a clear glass look when wet out, Kevlar is a gold colored cloth and will not have a translucent look like fiberglass. The thing is that neither of these materials is clear like glass so they wont become clear when wet. They don't have any special hazards that are different to working with glass, the real hazards are in the epoxy.

if you have a clear glass look sounds like you do not have any mat down fiber glass or Kevlar . Kevlar has alight gray to a dark gray color depending on weight of mate .Wet out are you talking about when you have a hole in the gel coat and water wets the fiberglass under the gel coat or when you roll the resin into the mate

the kevlar and spectra will be from a dirty dark yellow to a gross brownish color,, but alot of the color will com from your epoxy,,, some epoxy's are very white,,, but it will still lokk dulled,, specialy with the yellow kevlar
