We know that Bush pounded iraq not because of the WMD that did not exist. Also not because of removing crazy Sadam as history show that US loves to support friendly dictator. He went in to Iraq because he wanted to secure lots of oil for America and lots of contracts for Haliburton. I think its only natural that all American (especially Cheney) should adore him.

ps. This question is also intended to get the statistic on internet vulgarity and barbarism.

I know that Bush is "our leader" and all, and we should respect his knowledge and integrity, but, I have a 24 year old nephew that just lost both legs to "the war on terrorism" Bush is a money grubbing fool that is sending our kids to get killed in a conflict that has been going on since the beginning of time. I say send our kids home, the hell with the dollar, I work everyday and rob Peter to pay Paul. I love my country but, I love our kids more. I live in central maine and am afraid to turn my heat on, but would rather be poor and cold than see another kid die or be maimed there. Peter can wait, and so can Paul.....God Bless all Souls

I think you are mistaken on one point. You claim that Bush wanted secure the oil for Americans. I think that OPEC and Big Oil Business (along with our President) was concern that Saddam needed to break free from the OPEC Cartel and Open the Flow of Oil Production from Iraq to increase the depleted Iraqi coffers from the Iran/Iraq War and Desert Storm.

This would cause a flooding of the Oil Market and break the discipline of OPEC then all the Oil Producing Countries would have to up production because one of its member is openly cheating on the rest of the cartel. This would cause a flooding of the oil markets and prices (& Profits) to drop. They trumped up a phony case against Saddam to remove him and destable the region. Oil prices are at an all time high and the Big Oil Companies are reaping record profit on the American Tax Payers Behalf. You're being Gouged by your President and his friends. Circumstantial Evidence Is on my side.

WHy can't Americans get past the WMD and the fact that oil flow to America is not as important as the lives of the people that the dictator did and would have extinguished. Have any Americans gone without oil or anything else for that matter?

Being an Independent, Bush has done little if anything during his presidency that can be construed as doing good for the country as a whole. He's done nothing but polarize people on both sides of the political spectrum, and has caused mid east stability to make oil prices rise three fold in the last 5 years. Somebody stop the bleeding already!!!

First, your information about the reasons for going to Iraq is very very inaccurate. Second, no not every American soul has to love our president. They just have to support him. That means not bashing him for no good reason. If you disagree with him on a policy thats all fine and good but frivolous personal attacks on his character are uncalledfor.

i disagree. now, don't get me wrong, Saddam wasn't a hero or anything in my eyes, but neither is Bush. i don't agree with his decisions or thinking, nor do i believe that his is a capable president. sure, they all had their troubles, but Bush has gone too far, for me and many other Americans.
