Paramount did the right thing.. It is a business move, nothing else.. Cruise has lost credibilty by going "crazy" in the past year.. MI 3 bombed (made money, but no where near waht they wanted)... Don't worry about Cruise, he will find a job somewhere else...

I didn't know he got cut from Paramount. Well anyway. I have lost a lot of respect for Tom Cruise. I got so fed up with this whole scientology stuff. Whatever is going on, I think he should have acted a little more subdued. Well, I still think he is a decent actor, but I'm not going to make a big deal about the whole mess.

No, Paramount is unquestionably incorrect both of their decision and how they went about it. i don't believe of everybody can blame Tom Cruise for being enthusiastic about being in love (the leaping on the settee) and no one should be indignant through his speaking about Scientology. the very undeniable actuality that some absolutely everyone is indignant basically exhibits what bigots they're for no longer having the flexibility to be tolerant of somebody else's faith. yet as for Paramount and Sumner Redstone, the theory that MI3 did not cause them to adequate funds is a load of trash, it made in extra of $three hundred million, and over the years Tom Cruise has made billions for them. Sumner did not even notify Tom Cruise that he wasn't renewing his contract previously he stated it with the media. the decision is not basically incorrect yet they way it became executed became in really unfavourable flavor. i think that anti-Scientology bigotry had plenty to do with this. that is a shame that absolutely everyone remains persecuted for his or her non secular beliefs in a rustic that supposedly believes in non secular freedom and in protecting human beings from religiously-depending discrimination.

There's a different reason that they're not telling us. If the movies are bringing them profit and there aren't any artistic differences between Tom and Paramount then I'm sure they would overlook his personal life. Those things happened awhile ago. They would have cut him earlier if that was the reason.

I wouldn't say boycott paramount because do we actually pay attention to that, but I agree that whatever he does in his private life is his business, but if paramount thinks letting him go is a good choice that their choice.Tom Cruise is getting old anyways so maybe it's good for him

I agree a private life needs to be kept private but, Tom Cruise has not done so. He has been flaunting his ego and strutting his stuff like a peacock of late. And another studio will pick him up. It is not like the guy is hurting for fame or money.

Hey! Tom! Don't let the doorknob hit ya where the Good Lord split ya!

Tom Cruise has an ego that wouldn't fit in my hat even if there was room for Dallas.

personally i would not hire a person like him
as for paramount, that was their decision and to boycott them is yours
if he is so good would all the other studios not be lined up for him
and i do not see him even trying to keep his business personal
sorry, my opinion, he is a JERK and there are a lot better actors than him
watch any old film if you want to see real acting
pretty sure this will ot be picked as a best answer but it is the way i feel

I have to agree with them.... he's just getting crazier and crazier. His approval rating is slipping faster than Bush's! Look, if you work in the eye of the public for a company as well known as Paramount, you have to remember you are representing them.

Don't bite the hand that feeds you.

Hollywood has never been know for axing someone because of a moral or political stance as long as they profit by it.

Tom comes with a big price tag and Hollywood is in a slump. They need someone who wont chew up as much of the movie budget and cut into their profit margin.

True, I think Tom Cruise has some strange ideas, but he is still one of the kinder and gentler personalities in Hollywood who is good to his fans.
