Lumps are usually normal if they're small in size. I sometimes get them and they're not serious. However I still go to the doctor to check it out. U never know- so just keep doing ur usual self breast exam and if u find something that's abnormal or doesn't go away in a few days, go see a doc.

If you're concerned about them, yes, you should see a doctor, and I know they can get really painful. My best friend had that problem a few years ago and went to her doctor. She was told to cut back on her caffeine intake more then 80%. She did that and used warm compresses and within a few weeks the painful lumps disappeared and she hasn't had a problem since.

The best rule of thumb, if it feels wrong it probably is, what will you lose by having a professional check you out? If nothing is wrong you have lost nothing and gained peace of mind.

Have you noticed if it is around your period?? I have fibroids in my breast tissue (lumps) It tends to get worse when I have my period (and more painful) Just to be safe I would probably go to the dr. and have them check you out..It could be something else, but I wouldn't worry to much.
