IGNORE THEM is what you can do. Heck no, you are not fat, sweetie. Not by any means. Good lord these days if you don't look anorexic you're considered fat. They say to give yourself 100 lbs for the first 5 feet, then 5 lbs per every 5 inches after that. So at your height, a normal weight would be around 125, so you're actually UNDER weight. Concentrate on eating right, eating lean meats, lots of fresh friuts and veggies, getting a half hour of exercise a day, be kind to yourself and other, and ignore those stupid people who say you're fat. They're rude and inconsiderate. It's whats on the inside that counts, who you are as a person. A real friend doesn't care what you weigh or even you're butt ugly. They care about YOU and how you treat them.

You are NOT fat. A healthy weight for someone your size is 112-138 pounds. You are near the low end of the normal range. Your Body Mass Index is 18.8, which is perfectly normal. I would not recommend losing weight, since a 16 year old still has growing to do. It is more important that you give your body the nutrients it needs to grow and develop properly. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise!

Honey - You're friends must be jealous. I would have been. I am 5'6'' and when I was sixteen I couldn't get lower than 130. 113 is so thin. Any more thinner and the wind will blow you away. Tell your friends to jump off a bridge.

You are not fat!!!

If anything you are underweight for your height. Depending on bone structure you should weigh between 117-155 pounds.(see the website below)

If you don't like the tone of your muscle lift weights/do sit-ups but understand that muscle weighs more than fat and you may gain weight.

Most importantly, if your "friends" can't accept you for who you are and how you look they are not real friends

No, hun, you are not! In fact, you are just about the right weight. Maybe your friends are anorexic and that's spilling over on to you. Or they could be jealous that they are bigger than you are, while you look great. You shouldn't listen to everything your friends say. If you are truly concerned about your weight, ask for another opinion from a trusted family member or see a doctor. They are the only ones who can give you intelligent advice and tell you if you are truly overweight or not. In my experience, most 16 year olds don't have good heads on their shoulders, no offense. Tell them to mind their own business, stop picking on you and start worrying more about themselves.

Your friends are nuts. I think your friends enjoy messing with you. My 4th wife was 27 years old 5'4" and 114 pounds , she was a size 6 and in some cuts smaller.

She put the H in hot. You're actually a little under weight.

Get some new friends and have a burger.

I have to agree with what everyone else is saying. Your friends are idiots. What do they weigh? What are they getting out making you feel bad, maybe feeling a little less insecure themselves? I'm a nurse, and I see kids all the time who have legitimate weight issues. Trust me, at that height and weight, you DO NOT have a problem, your friends do!

You are not fat..you are no where near fat..your friends are jealous and confused as to why they don't look like you...those are lowsy friends to call you fat. Truthfully it will hurt you down the road to stay friends with people like that..take it from someone who knows.

Not no, but HELL NO you are not fat. What are your friends 5'5" and 50 lbs, then of course they would say you are fat. You should pick new friends, they sound pretty stupid to me.

you're not fat. I'm about that weight and height and definately not fat. If you feel like you're fat maybe eat healthier or be more active. And how dare you're friends tell you that you're fat.
