I purchased the "Card Collector" program last month to find out what cards I had left and what they were worth nowadays. I not only have a multitude of sports cards, but even some comic cards, expansion team NFL matchbox cards and other collectable items.Besides E-bay where hundreds of people sell their cards, mine are in mainly mint condition and left over from when I worked in a hobby shop and did card shows. I've surfed online and written a few places, but I don't know how or where to really get the best price for my collection or exposure of what I have. I would be thankful for even the slightest direction that helps me get rid of these though they were fun collecting many years ago.

ok everyone says ebay. But lets get down to brass tacks on "how" on ebay - you are better off selling them individually than in groups - if you're not in a hurry, you can put up an ebay store, and with your inventory you're probably better off anyways. If you want, you can put the price (BTW, the card collector and other programs are woefully out of date and generally have much higher values than you're going to get in today's glut market of collectibles) or a "make me an offer" - If you want to make it interseting, add a "teaser", like if you buy at least 10 cards you'll get something special, and then throw in some cards that you probably couldn't sell or something you got from a card show.

If you know a bit about them and their value sell them or ebay or you could try Yahoo Auctions. It does not cost anything to sell on Yahoo.
