After 3-4 days of camping the windshield popped out of the groove it sits in. It actually settled back into position and we were able to drive it home. The only thing that we did was level the unit using onboard system. I am thinking that the windshield was not properly installed.

The windshield should not "pop out" under any circumstances short of a major head-on collision. Have an auto glass or motorhome dealer check it out ASAP.

Contact the manufacturer and question the stability of your windshield.

Excessive heat and not leveled properly will do this but if you were using it at the time it is not likely the heat is the cause.
