You ever hear a phrase that, if you understood the whole conversation, makes perfect sense? But if the phrase were taken out of context it would sound really strange?

Yesterday I actually heard someone say “I don’t care if it is their mating season I need them both out from under the wagon.”

Please share one of your ‘now that’s something you don’t hear every day’ phrases with us.

I'm a waitress, so I get that ALL the time. I just stop by a table to grab a dirty dish or something, and I get some weird blip from the conversation. Just yesterday:

"I'd been vomiting for a month straight, so they kicked me out."

That's hardly the beginning of it. I should start writing down the odd blips I hear. They could make a damn calendar out of it.
