Does anyone know how long you have to wait to get married after a divorce...IN ILLINIOS!!!!!

I am not the one getting a divorce! My fiance and his wife have been legally seperated for 3years. We have known each other for 12years. They havent gotten a divorce due to money issues.

I don't think that there is a set time or waiting period but maybe you shouldn't just jump into it again. If you have already met someone that means that there was some cheating going on before the final divorce was filed in court. Jumping from one marriage to another before taking a breath usually isn't good and can result in problems down the road. Take a break and enjoy life. You only have one of those.

the usual waiting time is roughly 3 minutes, thats just long enough to leave the judges chambers that the divorce was completed in and get to the judges chambers where you get married.
there is no time limit, just as long as you are divorced
