The Skins still have some unanswered questions at QB will they be contenders or pretenders???

They will be tough, but I don't think they're as good as the Giants or Dallas. They made it to the playoffs last season, but I don't think that Brunell can be consistent for a whole season from beginning to end.

They will win a lot of games 13-10, 17-14, but their offense will hold them back. Dallas and the Giants have a lot more firepower.

Yes, they can be contenders. I see the Cowboys winning the division, and the Skins finishing second with a wild card. Redskins are far better than the G Men, and have a lot of chance to beat the Cowboys at home.

P.S- To all the Cowboys haters out there. What happened to Dallas not even having a winning season? What happened to that T.O wil blow up very quickly. I think you guys are scared after seeing what the Boys have done to the Saints and Seahawks in the pre-season.

I think the Redskins will tread water well enough, but I don't know about making the playoffs again. They could be good for a 9-7 or even a 10-6 season.

But the Cowboys are looking too good, and will probably win the division. With only 2 wild card spots, you're probably looking at one in the NFC South, minimum. So they'll need to duke it out with the Giants, who I think will slip a bit, and the Eagles, who won't be back to 2004 form, but might be right there with a 9-7 record themselves if all goes well for them.

I think the 'Skins will finish on the outside looking in come January. They're in what might be the toughest division in the NFL right now.

Contenders and possibly champs of their division. Joe Gibbs is a master of the game plan and do not be surprised if this team is still playing in January. Mark Brunell can still play and even in this tough division with NY, Dallas, and Philly, the Skins are capable of winning this division. Portis will be back soon and the addition of Randle El will help this team on offense. Last year was no fluke, expect the Skins to improve off last years playoff team.

You look at the TO injury problem & it is looking kind of scary for the Dallas Cowboys. I don't know if the Giants are going to do good this year BUT ONE THING IS FOR CERTAIN! The Redskins will do good this season & they'll give the Giants a run for their money for the NFC EAST DIVISION leader. If they don't win the division, they'll make the #6 spot in the NFC, since it's so weak.

Of course, if TO's injury isn't a big thing to worry about, then the Redskins are also going to have to fight off the Cowboys.

The skins r contenders but with giants and cowboys in thier division it will be to hard for them to make it to the playoffs, but if the giants bomb then they will make the playoffs, but they will not make to the bowl this year.

They will give Dallas and NY a run for the money, but they are far from being a good bet to win the division, neither do I see them in last place tho
