It is believed that the Royal Families did practice incest. We have proof of many kings marrying sisters, daughters and mothers. Cleopatra married her brother for example, Akhenaton married his daughters, and Tutankhamun married his sister.
But there is no proof that this was a common practice of the Egyptian people.

As with animal husbandry relatives who mate will have some deformed babies and some exceptionally bright.This applied to the Egyptians as well.

They didn't consider it Incest,they thiught they were insuring the royal blood but yeah they had alot of problems ,weak bones,if they cut themselves they couldn't stop the bleeding,alot of miscarriages.and my goodness look at Amenhotep,he had a head like a loaf of bread..
