Fort DeSoto Park...right on the beach in Pinellas County, Florida. It was rated the # 1 beach in the United States. The prices are rising, though. If you plan on buying...better do it quick. Cost of real estate here is expected to be tripled by this time next year.

check the nc area. I am 100 miles from the coast - affordable, nice. pretty decent I guess.

nowhere. nothing near the beach is affordable. i know i live 35 miles from the beach and its expensive as hell
