Well i have two rats and i think you shouldn't put a rat with a hamster cause the rat will probably kill the hamster.

I wouldn't do it. In the wild rats will kill mice so I would think a hamster wouldn't be much different to a rat.

DO NOT MIX SPECIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
These animals do not mix well, and they will cause each other harm! That would be so cruel to make these animals hurt each other . They do not live together in the wild, they do not live together in captivity! Of course hamsters make great rat food. Is that what you really want?

No, because if they are both boys, they will fight and if they are not, I still wouldn't unless they are both babies. Boy rats don't share well with strangers.
