Gastric juices rush into the stomach in times of stress. Usually there is no problem unless someone has an ulcer. Try drinking milk to calm it down. Stay away from acidic and spicey foods. A doc should be able to tell you for sure.

People respond to stress in different ways: loss of appetite, headaches, nausea, fatigue, illness, etc. You respond with stomach pain.

Instead of treating the symptom, try to address the cause. How can you reduce the stress? Or if you really, really can't, try to alleviate it and re-charge your batteries. A hot bath? Meditation? Quiet time with a cup of chamomile tea (a central nervous system relaxant)? An evening or morning walk? Music? Answering Yahoo questions?

Anxiousness, fear or strong emotions are deadly. Try real hard to manage it now. Ulcers are the tamest of illness stress causes. I know, I have a lot of them now.

Could be ulcers. I get the same thing but it takes a prolonged period of stress. I have Crohn's Disease. There are other similar ailments, like Colitis, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, etc...But it sounds like Ulcers if you get them almost immediately.

everyone reacts differently to stress--i know i get tension headaches over one eye and at the base of my neck--if these pains continue i would have it chkd by an md--it could be the acids in your stomach are churning--possible ulcer? or it could just be the way your body naturally reacts to stress-hope this helped--good luck!!

Skip waiting suites. When you have an appointment, check in and then go out for a walk until your receptionist phones you.
