I need to write a short story, about anything. I have NO idea what to write about. Can somebody please give me some ideas/topics?

a bunch of kids who get stuck in cinderalla's castle lol
i like fantasies so most of my stories are like that - with different made up creatures.
You can also write a story about a girl who looses her two legs to a drunk driver- you can kinda of write it from her point of view so that your reader can hear her inner most thoughts and her emotions- I.e. "Everyone is going to treat me with pity- 'there goes the girl with no legs...maybe we should say hi'. I'll never get married." blah blah
or you can base it on something happy or sad that happened in your life.
so basically think about a stories about disable teenagers and how they live their life coping with it (cancer, hiv, aids...) ur teacher would like that, esp if you have a nice moral at the end.-but i have no idea what type of person you are!! lol try basing it on an experiance or something.

Life in your shoes. - Look at a few people you don't know and imagine what their life stories are, judging by how they look - If you've got a digital camera, take pictures of them and put it in with the story.

You can write a story about two men at a diner....complete strangers......and they talk about their lives...why they are there....one could be married with children but he is on his way to a business appointment....what his project is...about his profession....while the other man could be just a normal truck driver who lives with his mother.....and you can end it when one of the men gets what they ordered....leaves people hanging

Take it from there, but make the next part of the sentence something unusual. Where it stopped, why it stopped, was it supposed to stop, who got on or off - now make a dcision about what to follow, the train or the passengers

you need to write about something you know about. Something you like to do... for instance.. video games, sports, music, whatever you're into... write about something you know.. remember, writing is just letting your pencil do the talking. If you can talk about it, you can write it.
