Mines is Full Metal Alchemist-nothing can top it off for me. This anime had great music, was full action, funny, and was very emotional. I have many favorite animes like Ayashi no Ceres, neon Genesis, Black Jack, Fruits Basket, Digimon, Fighting Spirit, even Bleach which is one of my top favorites at the moment can't top if off. Well this is just my opinion so now its your turn which is YOUR most favorite anime

True the full metal series was short but thats what makes it so good. It was so short that every single episode was full of action and fillers weren't necessary. Naruto, I love Naruto, it was my obssesion until Bleach. Naruto is good but it has so many fillers that it got boring....although I'm looking forward when the fillers are over because they will be all grown up. Well anyways these are my rambles of opinions.

Berserk was the best thing that have happen to Anime world. But sadly in 1999 it was canceled because TV executives in Japan said it was too graphic for the anyone to watch, what a BS. Berserk has great story, amazing action, medieval environment, witchcraft, wonderful romance, superb characters, lot of blood, some more blood, some more amazing sword action, and super amazing story which deserves to be the best anime series of all time. Some of other great anime series that make up the top ten of my list are, cowboy bebop, Inuyasha, Naruto, Trigun, Fist of the north star, full metal alchemist, wolf's rain, and last but not least BERSERK RULES!

Vampire Hunter D, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, Akira, Perfect Blue. That's my list. I don't particularly like the "Westernized" shows that have been popping up lately, and I'm not into the giant mech stuff either. Watched an episode of Full Metal Alchemist a couple months ago and hated it. No offence, I know it is very popular.

I've got a lot of favourite animes but I'd say the one I like the most is Gundam SEED/Destiny.
My other favourites:
Bleach- awesome character designs and OP ED music
Trinity Blood- the art is just too good
Slam Dunk- well it's just one of the funniest basketball anime made in the 90's. That's when the whole main character with orange hair started.
Hellsing, Blood+, Visions of Escaflowne, that's all.
Oh and Ouran Kokou Host Club!

I concur that Full Metal Alchemist is indeed a very entertaining show however have you ever heard of Full Metal Panic because that's my choice as my favorite anime of all time.
