I mean, so many people get the latest stuff and listen to the spewing crap they hear on the radio and they think they're cool
How do they let themselves believe that?

I know. I really get cynical when I see people rushing around, shopping for the latest styles, and then being proud of themselves for being able to 'match' colors when all that stuff is figured out by the fashion industry ahead o time.
I get more out of vintage pieces or handknits that I make myself from vintage yarns.And guess what? People always want to know where I get my stuff, too!

People just want to feel like they're doing what everyone else is doing. If you don't, it means you're different and obviously something is wrong with you if you don't buy the latest stuff of listen to the new song.....
I think maturity also plays a role.
