I voted for Pres Bush twice. I support most of what he does. Specifically,

1. He is the first President that has gone after with violence the terrorists. No negotiating, just using the best military in the world. He has shown that he stands behind his decisions, unlike Pres. Clinton who was more worried about his poll numbers.

2. He has furthered the fact that when government cuts taxes, the government gets more money. When taxes are cut, people have more money to spend and thus more income is made and thus there is more to collect taxes on.

3. He has put originalist judges up for the Supreme Court. Though Harriet Myers was a disaster. Justices Roberts and Allito ran intellectual rings around Democrats in the hearings. The Constitution mandates that judges interpret whether a law violates the Constitution, not making new laws such as the Emminent Domain decision, which allows government to seize private property for private use. He also wants judges that will overturn Roe v Wade. The reason why this was a bad decision is the Consitution does not mention abortion and it is reserved as a state issue. The original judges used a false right to privacy that DOES NOT EXIST in the Constitution.

4. He is a real guy and does not act better than us. He is funny and sincere. He is not the greatest communicator, but so what.

I will say that he misses the boat on refusing to enforce immigration laws, not defending himself against the smear merchants in the media, spending too much, way too big government,...

GWB deals with the real world while his opponents talk in theoreticals. They offer no alternative plans other than pull out now or on a specified date for Iraq - both defeatists stratagies. They offer no other plans other than negotiate on Iran and Korea and Lebanon. Nice in theory but foolish since none of them keep their word. Negotiation is therefore capitulation- vasiline not provided. His programs such as the NSA have proven results in protecting all Americans. The whiners and handwringers can show no real harm from the data mining. Data mining is not eavesdropping.

The economy is strong. Unemployment is low. Inflation is being held inline. The economy is more effected by the Federal Reserve but where Washington does have more effect the geopolitical events have been managed well. GWB has had no period of tranquility starting with the Japanese fishing point, the Chiinese and the spy plane, and 9-11 a mere 8 months into his tenure. I have my complaints with GWB but the alternatives were and still are simply disasterous.

First off, I know for a fact that an antiwar candidate would not have been right for this time in the country. So, John Kerry is out (by the way you got overconfident that he would win to the point that none of you voted). We're in a trying time as a country and we needed a strong leader who could pull us through it. When we look at these last few years in the future I hope that you will see this as nothing more than a "stress test" for our integrity as a nation. It is my belief that with the problems around the world dealing with armed conflicts and terror our country is up to the challenge and more than strong enough to get through it. More than so, I'd like to hear you say one negative thing about our president that you can back up with a credible source. That doesnt mean heresay or rumor. Its been my experience in life that people often make personal attacks when they cant say anything else and they cant handle losing fair and square.

I'll comment on just one subject that everyone seems to be interested in -- Price and availability of gas, oil, and other forms of energy. The Bush administration has done more about this than ANY prior adminstration, regardless of party. Bush has made federal grants available and encouraged vast new efforts in alternative fuels such as ethanol and bio-diesel, coal gasification and clean-burn power plants, coal-to-liquid fuel cnversion plants, wind and solar power, and development of the Alaskan north slope, the Gulf of Mexico, and other new sources within the U.S. One recent development is the "Barrett Shale" natural gas deposits beneath Dallas/Ft. Worth airport, which have recently been approved for drilling.

Al Gore just talks about these things, and mostly in a negative way. George Bush has done them.

Al Queda leaders do no longer delight in an identical status as heads of state. while they declared conflict in this usa, any plan or concept to kill them is only wonderful with me, and the the remainder of u . s . a .. Any dictate of Gerald Ford, as an govt order, would have been undone by ability of any president, at any time, regardless. All CIA plans are no longer reviewable by ability of Congress if there is not any plan to enforce this technique. It grow to be only an thought, organic and easy. it's time to bypass On.

The only reason I voted for Bush was that he was the lesser of two evils. If those who ran against him had one once of credibility, I would have voted different. At this point, I regret that I voted for Bush. Maybe in the next election, we the American people will have someone worth voting for. (Keep an eye on Barack Obama). If he runs for pres. I'll vote for him hands-down!
