I believe it is healthy for your body, but not healthy for the others that have to SMELL what you EXPEL.....
There's a lady at work that was brought up that farting in public is totally acceptable, she's in her 40's! We'll walk by her cubicle and she'll turn around and giggle, that's how you know she just cut one. Looking at her, you would never believe it. She's LOOKs so prim and proper and never wears the same outfit twice...with her sweet little voice....it's all a cover up...!!

Farting is normal. What happens is the some of the bacteria living in your digestive tract digests some of the food and they produce gas. To let gas out rectum well ... you have to fart. That's why you smell like eggs or methane or something like that.
I think people are embarased to fart because it makes noise and other people will know who farted.

Gas has gotta go somewhere! It's part of the body's natural function. You can't hold it, let'er fly. What else can you do? Of course, it is polite to go to another room away from other people to do this. I hope this helps.
