There is no need for abortions , only in rare medical conditions or if a women is raped can there be any argument for it , and even then most of them can be saved.and that percentage of the population is small compared to how many abortions are performed each year.
I dont see the need for it , sheesh it's only 9 months of growing time and then the woman can put it up for adoption if she really dosent want it.
The law should be changed drastically .....I would say 8 weeks be the limit on when you can abort a child and then only for extreme medical conditions (which would include the emotional impact for rape). If you are going to have sex ~ take responsibility on what could happen, if you get pregnant , give the baby up for adoption...all it needs is some growing time ...even if contraception fails is that a reason to inflict pain on a child as it is ripped from the womb? it's 9 months ladie's 9 months ..how can you justify abortion ?

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. I am pro-life without exception, even in the case of rape and "life of the mother." Here's why:

I suppose they explain it off as the baby being just part of the mother's body, not really alive and all that rot, but medical examinations have discovered that, yes, the fetus DOES feel pain when it is taken from the womb. (Think about it: how would you feel if your limbs were ripped off and sucked away?)

The only time I think abortion could be justified is if the mother's life itself is in danger. Even if the mother was raped, it isn't the child's fault it came into existence. Getting an abortion when there isn't any imminent, life-threatening problem with the birth is just killing off an innocent child whose only crime was to come into being. If anyone does kill off the child--for selfish reasons like it not being the right time, or needing to work on the career, or the boyfriend not wanting it--they are nothing more then murderesses. They are denying the right to life that any unborn child has, violating the most sacred, tender and poignant relationship there is: the one between mother and child.

You have arbitrarily drawn a line at 8 weeks. Because some have strong beliefs against all abortion (or even contraception) they have drawn a line at conception. Some have used medical evidence to draw the line at the time when a child could possibly survive outside the womb. I personally don't agree with all abortion. The question then becomes one about morality and imposing ones personal beliefs upon another and deciding when a fetus is a person with blood, brain activity, and a soul. Women will continue to abort, legal or not. The question then becomes one of women's health and what takes precedence, the potential of the unborn or the well-being of the woman who will abort even at risk to their own life. With modern medical techniques that can uncover future bith defects such as malformation, brain disorders, and many others, I predict that the number of abortions for the purpose of "mercy" will and should increase.

"give the baby up for adoption"

Oh, sure. Like all of the homeless kids, and kids in foster care now don't have enough competition.

Look, if its a perfect little, white child, there will be people lined up for it. But if its a minority, or have an emotional or learning disability, it will be extremely rare for a child to be adopted.

"it's 9 months ladie's 9 months"

Alright, before you repeat that stupid statement again, I want you to carry increasingly sized melons (increasing every three months: first a cantaloupe, a honeydew melon, finally a watermelon) around your waist, 24/7, for nine months.

Meanwhile, go to the doctor and get hormone shots increasing in dose over the nine months.

In addition, have someone stand by your bed in the morning and punch you in the stomach every few days a week to make you throw up.

Do that and then you can repeat that stupid statement.

Exactly! Women should take the responsibility...
Do you think if they had the baby though they'd give away for adoption no way.. Many young women today have abortions... Nowadays it's like playing nintendo.. They think "Let's have sex, if i get pregnant i'll have an abortion no big deal" What they don't know is that abortion causes problems.. The more often they do the more chances of not being able to have a child..

I know from personal experience.. A friend of mine had an abortion, and know she nevers leaves church basically.. She regrets every minute of it.. But not all women are like that

"Why would you want to force someone to go through that for something they didn't want in the first place? "

You wanted a cock stuck in your shithole right? You know the hazzards of unsafe sex.. unless you are dumb go for it.. Sluts

And as I recall sex is a means of having kids.. If you 're just looking for pleasure there are means of having safe sex as well.. Of course people like you KAK are despised

Abortion is a very personal choice and has no business being in the law books. It is just a step backward for women if it becomes illegal. Abortion isn't murder, if you wanted to you could say menstruation is murder since you didn't become pregnant and the egg dies. That's half of a baby, right? It should only be a woman's choice. It is a choice on whether a woman decides to be a mother or not. Men certainly have that choice..... I know alot of people whose fathers abandoned them at birth.

There is no need for abortions
----------
Yes there are need.

, only in rare medical conditions or if a women is raped can there be any argument for it
------------
says you.

, and even then most of them can be saved.and that percentage of the population is small compared to how many abortions are performed each year.
----------
source please?

I dont see the need for it
-----------
then dont get one.

, sheesh it's only 9 months of growing time and then the woman can put it up for adoption if she really dosent want it.
--------------
shouldn't that be her decision, not yours? THat is something that is growing off of your body, taking your energy sources, using up.

The law should be changed drastically .....I would say 8 weeks be the limit on when you can abort a child and then only for extreme medical conditions (which would include the emotional impact for rape).
------------------------
Well, thankfully, you arent the one to say how laws go.

If you are going to have sex ~ take responsibility on what could happen,
---------------
Yeah, women get such a hard time for that, when men don't have to stay with their families. They can leave, pay a monthly stipend (many dont, though). But hey, its the womans fault.

if you get pregnant , give the baby up for adoption
-------------------------
Really? Have you been to orphanges lately? Have you seen the foster care system?

...all it needs is some growing time ...even if contraception fails is that a reason to inflict pain on a child as it is ripped from the womb?
---------------------
So you tell people to take responsibility - but its still their fault if they take precautions to keep from getting pregnant? You see people who have sex as irreponsible - but yet, you see forcing them to have a child as responsible? You honestly want someone who is irresponsible sexually to be raising a kid?

it's 9 months ladie's 9 months ..how can you justify abortion ?
---------------------
YEAH. NINE MONTHS OF SOMETHING GROWING IN MY BODY. WREAKING HAVOC ON IT. TAKING MY ENERGY. USING MY BLOOD, USING MY LIFE SOURCE. SO YEAH. IT IS MY SAY. MY BODY, MY CHOICE. NOT YOURS. Try talking to someone who has gotten an abortion. You make it sound like something that's an easy decision. When I assure you, its not.

You anti-choicers are so misguided. One minute, you talk about how you care so much for that poor little life in the womb, but once its born, who gives a crap what happens to it after!!

Shouldn't you think that a child be born because its wanted? Not because people like you try to make children as a punishment?

Oh, and all you people who try to characterize women as people who see abortion as...quote "nintendo games". Grow the eff up. That is disgusting and mysoginistic. Clearly, you dont know any stats about abortion. You just want to characterize women as sl*ts and its all their fault they are pregnant

yeah yeah yeah. we get it. children are supposed to be a punishment for having sex. oh noes. sex is only for reproduction. All of you are virgins right???

Abortion is a necessary evil that we can't afford to take away now. There are enough young people who are not taught about birth control and do stupid things, and enough desperate women and girls that if abortion is made illegal, back ally "clinics" will open up, causing unsafe conditions in which the mother will die as well as the fetus. We can fight to reduce the number of abortions by making sure that more teenagers are taught about birth control, but sadly, a lot of the people who are against abortion are the same ones who are against teaching birth control to teens. As it is, abortion should be a choice left up to the woman in question, NO ONE else.

I agree with you 100%. In my opinion (remember, it's only an opinion), the reason that woman choose to abort their unborn babies is that they are afraid to accept the concequences and responsabilities that having sex can bring. I know it sounds unfair to them, but as a human being that has matured enough to carry a baby, they cannot truthfully say that they don't understand the concept of concequences following actions. If I were to rob a bank, I would go to jail (concequence following an action). I wouldn't be able to just back out of it, but for some reason, humans can kill humans to take the easy way out and there is no punishment??? what's up?

Will you, your family and your friends adopt all the children brought into this world against the better judgement of the woman and her doctor? Great, there is an orphanage down the street from me with about 97 new borns - can we bring them over this evening? Since when did you become so wise about what happens to and in the bodies of women? What, you think you are the government of the USA, and can tell people what to do with their bodies? Since you are so into giving others advice about abortion and what they can do with their lives, maybe you like to be told what to do with yours - shut the f*u*c*k up and mind your own business.
