This is not really a scientific theory, because it cannot be proved. The premise is part of evolution and biology, since we know that sexual activity is the most highly rewarded activity an animal can engage in. Reproduction must be the highest priority for any living organism or it would not be around for long.
You will notice that, even though gay people cannot reproduce sexually as such, many of them go to great lengths to have children, by adoption or by proxy.

In a strict biological sense, yes, love and sex are mechanisms that ensure the survival of our species by encouraging reproduction. It seems so simple you would figure it would be self-evident.
From a religious perspective, something that is sorely lacking now a days, sex without love is actually exploitive and ultimately - though modernists don’t like to admit it – detrimental to the mental and physical health of men and women.
Not to mention, that sex without the prerequisite of a life long commitment has done more to undermine the institution of marriage more than any other factor. Is it no wonder that in anonymous polls that survey people who preserve their virginity prior to marriage, those who successful kept chaste before marriage, had a drastically lower divorce rate than those who were promiscuous prior to marriage.

Yes, I do. Partly. Because there are arranged marriages...and those couples do have kids even though they might not love each other. Many a one night stand has resulted in an illigitimate child. But in western cultures primarily, love leads to lust, which leads to sex which leads to procreation. But once menopause sets in, that doesnt mean love and/or sex ceases, just procreation goes away.

No, God gave his children the power to love all.
"No because I am gay."
*Shudders* However due to the above case I do agree with the Scientific Theory to some extent...God that was disgusting.

Yes, for other species. But when it comes to humans, I think it's just because it feels good, not because we necessarily want to have kids. Plus, love isn't really necessary to propagate. So I would assume we do it because we like it.
