I have no problem going down on her, but she never initiates the return favor. I feel like if I don't "whip it out" when she's half drunk, it'll never happen at all.

Most women I know who don't return the favor think that they aren't very good at it and so they don't do it. Also, if you make her think that it's expected of her then she won't do it because then it's not worth doing in her eyes.
I use to have the same issue with my ex when we were married. It wasn't until I stopped asking and yet continued to go down on her with just one purpose "To please her, not so I get something in return". That she finally started to be willing to give head more often. Women aren't dumb, if the primary reason you are going down on her is so you can get head in return, she'll know it.
You are her husband, try being a little more selfless in the bedroom and you will see her willingness to be what you want change. You want great sex? Try going back to the way you treated her those first 2 months you were dating and keep corting her that way. It will blow you mind how happy that will make her.

she is not as comfortable with her sexuality as you are. Realize that and modify your behavior to make it easier for her. She may not enjoy it at all, but maybe you can show her that it is more in the line of a favor and it would mean the world to you if she would see how much you enjoy it. If she can't bring herself to doing it, then please just leave her alone until another time in your lives when she will have more ability to handle the situation. One of you has to love the other enough to accept the situation. If it can't be her, then make sure it is you.

I don't mean to be rude but sometimes men have a smell or odor or taste that is not appealing to their spouse, find out if that is part of the problem and drink pineapple juice before you start, it gives it a sweeter taste and makes it easier to do. Good Luck

I used to hate giving head because most women are raised to believe it's disgusting and sometimes that's a wall that takes a lot to break down. The thing that made me come around was my mate telling me how much it pleases him and that I was good at it. It empowered me to know that I could bring this strong confident man to his knees with the maneuvering of my mouth. It's very good for my self esteem for my man to tell me while performing how much he likes it and how good it makes him feel. I'm a pleaser. It's very important to me that my man be pleased. Maybe if she know exactly how it pleases you, she'd be more willing to do it more often. Talk to her about it and let her know how you feel about it. Maybe she'll come around then...Good Luck!

Try talking to her. Communication is very very important in a relationship. Maybe some women do not like this type of sex.
Shouldn't you respect her wishes since it is a 50 50 relationship?

Have you tried talking to her about it? Communicating your sexual desires and needs, likes and dislikes is very important. If your wife is only occasionally giving you head, I think its safe to say, she doesn't enjoy it. How could you get married and not know this??? The question is what are you going to do if she is unable to accommodate your needs?

Ok I will tell you the truth I hate giving head, and you know what my husband understands. I know a lot of females that hate it. I would say get used to it. Some women do not like to do that.

wow I know people who say they never get it.. OK you want head than either ask for it or make it more appealing for her to do....make yourself clean as...eat the stuff that makes you taste better and add some chocolate ice cream cream whatever she likes to make her job nicer. But in my experience the more my husband is going like I want this nagging me the less I want to give.

If you bug her, it won't happen. Let her do it on her own. When she feels like it. It would be like her nagging you to do something that you might not want to do. Tell her how you feel and then drop it.
