I enjoyed teachers who were:
- knowledgeable
- interesting
- enthusiastic about the subject he or she taught
- fair to all students
- available for questions and after-class help
I hated teachers who were:
- condescending (I even had one professor roll her eyes at me once)
- boring
- harsh graders
- unorganized

My favorite teachers are always those who care and will take the time to ask you how you're doing. They're passionate about their subjects and teach them in a very engaging way. They take the extra mile to make sure you're doing well. And they're very understanding if you forget today is the due date for a paper! Teachers without a sense of humor usually intimidate me.

Ones that actually want to teach because they like teaching.
The ones that do it for the 8 - 3 job and summers off - we do not need them!
