ok, come on guys! Every time I go out to eat, no matter what day of the week, the restaurant is almost full. An average meal out for two people is around $40-$50. At the very least, people are going out once a week -which means $200. However, it is probably closer to about 10 times a month, so mimum $500. And this is not even touching on fast food places, like Wendy's, MsD's, Arby's, etc

Dining out, I'd say probably $300-$400. I buy my lunch almost every day at work, and probably once a week or every other week go out to eat at a restaurant for dinner, and then fast food sometimes on the weekend. Pretty ridiculous, I could save a lot if I brought lunch from home and just went to the supermarket once a week.

Mark,
That is a scary question for me to answer! Too much would be my answer!
I would say 15-20 times a month. Around $800-more total.We are so..lazy!
We arrive home from work, and do not want to cook so..we go out and eat.
We do not do fast food either. Places like : Outback Steakhouse, Max and Erma's, Don' Pablo's,Quizno's etc....We do spend alot out. There is no excuse for laziness,we are both excellent cooks, and there for awhile,we where doing well.Making up spaghetti sauce, casseroles, etc...We are worst in the winter, than in the summertime. In the summertime,we grill out alot,so ,that cuts down on the amount of times that we eat out. Thanks for the question, winter is creeping up on us,and i am going to try to save some money. You are definitely getting the thumbs up from this woman,Thank-You...

Too much. I really need to cook more and bring my lunch to work. If you spend $5 a day, 5 days a week at work for lunch that adds up to $100 a month. That would pay at least the cable bill around here. Of course $5 at a time doesn't seem like that much, but it does add up. Add the family into that equation and it is really expensive.

I travel a lot for work and dine out frequently. I would estimate it to be about $2000+ a month but I am trying to cut that down. (I only have a girlfriend, no kids.)

$150-$200 maybe more. I eat out for lunch almost every day and then sometimes dinner too. I know I probably spend way too much money per month on food because of eating out.
