My mom and i used to use chalk to do ceramics all the time. As opposed to painting them. There were special brushes you had to use to do chalking. They are hard bristled and very firm. i want to get back into it but all my brushes are old and i need to replace them. But now when i look for them, people look at me like i am crazy. i looked online but can't find anything under chalk brushes. First does anyone know what i am even talking about? Second are they called something besides chalk brushes now? And third does anyone know where to find them? Thanks in advance for your help.

I saw this site for Michaels that advertises a distressing kit and shows chalk brushes included in the kit. I'm not sure if that's the type of brush you're looking for though. Take a look at this site http://www.michaels.com/art/online/displayProductPage?productNum=pc0143
