People talk about other people on Yahoo Answers alot, I just want to know why you really care that much if it's not you. I hate seeing racist questions on here, because all of the questions are ignorant, stereo-typical, and just plain racist. People make fun of celebrities and politicians and most of you don't even know these people. Why do you care if it's not you?

I get what you're saying and I think the answer to your question is jealousy and insecurity. People are insecure with themselves so they say things about other people out of jealousy. I try to stop myself before I gossip about someone, because it just reveals the insecurities within myself.

I think you're looking too much into the racist/insulting questions and not looking at the overall picture. Sure, there are some idiots who throw on the occasional question to get a rise out of people, yet quite a few of these questions refer to simple "What do I do about (insert problem here)?" I think people throw celebrities/politicians on here as a topic because either they're annoyed with hearing about them, or they are just jealous that the celebrity is where he or she is at. It's always easiest to place blame on someone for something, and that will never go away.

celebrities and politicians I don't even know these people in person but I do know them by the media and what I what they teach me about them I may dislike.
All the celebrities most of you people treat them as they were special, when they are just stupid humans like the rest of us, I'm happy they are doing what they like but if it were not for the lowest person on the set, they would not be celebrities, so where is there special place.
politicians we vote for them, they are to support the working class and poor, the rich take care of themselves, but it's the rich that makes them there puppet and we the people get the crumbs, so yes we bash them

People get frustrated with their own lives, they have to take it out on someone. How about someone they never have to ever see?
I avoid most of the questions you mention because all I know is feeding the flame.
