To aide in his recovery, I suggest you give him some of the child's drink "Pedialyte". It will help in replacing fluid and electrolytes lost during his heat exhaustion episode. Drink as instructed on the bottle every one to four hours and finish the product.

You might be surprised as to how long it does take to recover from heat exhaustion. It can really affect a person for quite some time, depending on age and general physical conditioning.

One other caution: Once a person has recovered from heat exhaustion a person may be more susceptible to it happening again.

Considering he is two weeks post event he is no longer suffering any effects from that. Meantime it is more likely he is now suffering from some type of viral infection that is dragging him down. Tylenol, rest and fluids will most likely do the trick.

antibiotics will NOt work for a viral infection. have ur boyfriend come over to ur house and take u to a different dr. ask him to look in ur throat. your dr. needs to do a blood test.a dn yes after having mrsa, you prolly got mono (viral) after the mrsa symptoms went away). it almost sounds like you have mono ask for a test I am so sorry to hear u are going through this.
